Edgemont Ranch lies in the heart of Southwest Colorado, just six and a half miles east of historic downtown Durango. The residents and property owners of Edgemont Ranch welcome you. We feel Edgemont Ranch offers some uniquely important amenities not available in other developments. These include:
- An “in the pines” setting but with city amenities such as central water, sewer, paved roads, and snow removal.
- Close proximity to town, yet set in a quiet, open atmosphere.
- Diverse types of properties–many homes are on 1 acre, but with town-home and condo properties as well
- A safe family-friendly environment off of the highway with a large children’s playground and tennis court.
- Over 6 miles of trails for hiking and snow shoeing
- Fishing rights to the Florida River.
There are many informal groups participating in tennis, pickleball, hiking, and a fishing club. For those quieter moments there is the Edgemont BookNook in the mailbox building where you can donate a book and take a book for your reading pleasure. A person can be as active or private as they choose to be in Edgemont Ranch.
